This weekend the interview I did with my pal and fellow artist Christina Kent went live on YouTube and I wanted to share it with you!
In the video I dive into my history as an artist growing up in Chicago, attending Marwen, going to art school, working too much post-grad on DIY art spaces and the publication Informality, plus what led me to the path I am on now as an artist. If you have been curious to know more about my history, this video is the place.

I spent the weekend in community with friends, hiking in the regional redwood parks meditating on all of the big lessons I am looking forward to sharing in the Redwood Root Systems Class this evening at 4PM PST.
This is my first online workshop of the year in the Persistent Bloom Zoom Room. At Redwood Root Systems we are going to:
connect did lists to defining our Cocoons for Winter
set tiny intention seeds for the year ahead
build systems and processes for connecting with community this year.
If that sounds good to you, there is still time left to sign up! Tickets are sliding scale between $25-$5.
Paid subscribers here on Substack will be getting a free link in the jump below!

Hope to see some of you this evening! Thanks for reading this dispatch. Be on the lookout for creative prompts coming next week.
